Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with residential and commercial installations and repairs.
- Prepare work areas by laying out materials, tools, and equipment.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot basic electrical wiring and lighting fixtures.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes.
- Keep the workspace clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Perform basic measurements and calculations for projects.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
- No previous professional electrical experience required.
- Must be physically able to lift heavy tools and work in various environments.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read basic measurements.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (highly preferred).
- Strong willingness to learn and follow safety protocols.
- Must pass a background check.
