Job Overview
We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality in San Diego and beyond. As an Apprentice, you will work closely with licensed electricians to gain hands-on experience in residential and commercial settings.
Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Ensure all work strictly adheres to local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Use hand and power tools, including drills, saws, and multimeters, safely and correctly.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project progress and safety protocols.
- Keep work areas clean and organized, adhering to 5S workplace standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not strictly required for entry-level positions.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driverβs license and a clean driving record.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and working in various environments (confined spaces, heights, outdoors).
- Strong desire to learn the trade and a commitment to safety.
- Basic computer literacy is a plus.
