Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, including running conduit, stripping wire, and terminating connections.
- Inspect electrical components and devices to identify defects or potential hazards.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site while adhering to all local, state, and national electrical codes.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project timelines and safety protocols.
- Participate in ongoing training to advance your technical skills and licensure.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of mathematics and measurements.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong desire to learn the electrical trade and obtain State of Arizona licensure.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
