Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Electricians: Support the installation and maintenance of electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems under supervision.
- Read Blueprints: Interpret basic electrical diagrams and schematics to understand project requirements.
- Perform Safety Inspections: Ensure all work is performed in accordance with local, state, and national electrical codes (NFPA 70E).
- Troubleshoot Systems: Help diagnose and repair electrical faults in residential and light commercial settings.
- Maintain Tools: Properly handle, maintain, and organize hand and power tools.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with homeowners and clients to explain work being performed.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and safe job site at the end of each shift.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We are willing to train the right candidate from scratch.
- High School Diploma: General educational development or equivalent required.
- Valid Driver's License: Must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for measurements and calculations.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and ready to work a full-time schedule.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
