Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with local and National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine layout.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards or defects.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently.
- Ensure all work sites are clean, organized, and comply with OSHA safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with project managers and clients to ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Journeyman or Master Electrician License (or equivalent experience for Apprentices).
- Certification in low voltage or fire alarm systems is a plus.
- Current Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Strong understanding of electrical theory, circuitry, and power distribution.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environmental conditions (extreme heat, confined spaces).
