Responsibilities
- Perform residential and commercial electrical installations, including wiring, outlets, and lighting fixtures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate installations.
- Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper functionality and compliance with codes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all job sites.
- Assist senior electricians with complex troubleshooting and repairs.
- Ensure all work meets local, state, and national electrical safety standards (OSHA, NEC).
- Communicate effectively with customers and project managers regarding job progress.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not always required.
- Basic understanding of math and measurements.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, kneel, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
