Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment in residential/commercial settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications to execute precise installations
- Conduct thorough inspections and troubleshooting to identify electrical hazards and inefficiencies
- Ensure strict compliance with NEC, OSHA, and local safety regulations
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to coordinate seamless workflow
- Document work progress, materials used, and safety compliance reports
- Perform emergency repairs and system upgrades with minimal downtime
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of verifiable electrical experience (residential/commercial)
- Valid Virginia Electrician Journeyman or Master license required
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and circuit diagrams
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex electrical systems
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
