Job Overview
As an Electrician at Tucson Electrical Pros, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. You will ensure that all work is done in compliance with local and national electrical codes.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
- Ensure that all electrical work meets local and national safety codes and regulations.
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools.
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and replace or repair defective parts.
- Provide excellent customer service and explain technical issues to clients clearly.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License in the State of Arizona.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments (extreme heat, heights, confined spaces).
