Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to plan electrical layouts.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety standards (OSHA).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical systems efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site at all times, including proper disposal of waste materials.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating project timelines and expectations clearly.
- Assist in mentoring junior apprentices and trainees when required.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent certification in Kentucky/Virginia.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in the electrical trade.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
- Strong understanding of National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation to job sites.
