Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes (NEC)
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to meet deadlines
- Perform safety inspections and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Participate in ongoing training programs to develop advanced skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to complete paid apprenticeship program (no experience needed)
- Basic understanding of electrical concepts and terminology
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in various environments (heights, confined spaces)
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Must pass background check and drug screening
