Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Manage project timelines and coordinate with contractors/clients
- Mentor junior electricians and maintain safe work practices
- Document work orders and maintain accurate service records
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of electrical experience (residential/commercial)
- Valid Nebraska electrician license or ability to obtain immediately
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to complete prior to start
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends/on-call
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Pass background check and drug screening
