Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality electrical installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance on commercial and industrial equipment.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Ensure all work meets strict safety standards and regulatory requirements, conducting daily site safety checks.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical systems efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, including proper tool management and waste disposal.
- Collaborate effectively with project managers and other tradespeople to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of verifiable experience in commercial and industrial electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Ability to read and understand complex electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs, working in various weather conditions, and standing for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
