Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and devices using blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections to ensure all electrical systems comply with local codes and regulations (NEC).
- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex electrical issues in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Connect wiring, cables, and conduits using appropriate tools and techniques, ensuring secure and efficient connections.
- Ensure all work is performed in a safe manner and that all tools and equipment are maintained properly.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to provide status updates and explain technical requirements.
Qualifications
- Licensed Journeyman Electrician: Must hold a valid Journeyman license in the State of California.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Tools: Demonstrated ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Driver's License: Valid, clean driving record and a valid driver's license.
- Problem Solving: Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to troubleshoot under pressure.
