Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to plan layout and installation of electrical systems.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes, OSHA standards, and company safety protocols.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely project completion.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Provide excellent customer service and clear communication regarding project status.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Journeyman Electrician License in the State of Florida.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, using electrical testing equipment (multimeters, voltage detectors), and wiring techniques.
- Tools: Reliable transportation and own basic hand tools (or willingness to acquire).
- Physical: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), work in various weather conditions, and stand for extended periods.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent teamwork skills.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
