Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, devices, and wiring in residential and commercial properties.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure system longevity and safety.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical malfunctions and identify safety hazards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan installations.
- Adhere to all local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Ensure strict compliance with company safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project status and requirements.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license in Maryland.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial or residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Physical stamina to stand, climb, and work in various weather conditions.
