Responsibilities
- Perform residential and commercial electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics to plan layouts.
- Ensure all work strictly adheres to local, state, and National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Inspect electrical systems, devices, and components to identify hazards or defects.
- Test equipment and components to ensure proper operation.
- Assist senior electricians with complex troubleshooting and system upgrades.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Strong desire to learn and work in a hands-on environment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Willingness to obtain required state licensure/certifications.
