Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial and residential electrical systems according to local codes and regulations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Perform troubleshooting to identify and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
- Ensure all work sites are clean, safe, and organized in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Communicate effectively with project managers and clients regarding project progress and requirements.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License (or equivalent) required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Reliable transportation to job sites throughout the Portland metro area.
- Basic understanding of electrical schematics and tools.
