Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential and commercial properties.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure proper installation.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Perform regular maintenance and inspections to identify potential hazards or inefficiencies.
- Respond promptly to service calls and troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to OSHA safety standards.
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina Journeyman Electrician License is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in commercial and industrial electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and power distribution.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic testing equipment effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
