Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, devices, and fixtures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding job status and requirements.
- Keep work areas clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Entry Level: Willingness to learn and obtain a Journeyman license.
- Experienced: Valid Journeyman Electrician license (for senior roles).
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and at heights (if applicable).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer literacy for logging job hours and materials.
