Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
- Perform routine inspections and testing of electrical equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety regulations and local building codes.
- Use hand and power tools correctly and safely to complete tasks efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project status and requirements.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Willingness to obtain a Journeyman Electrician license and complete required apprenticeship hours.
- Basic math skills and ability to read a ruler or tape measure.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are mandatory.
- Strong work ethic and a desire to learn a skilled trade.
