Job Overview
As an Electrician at Apex, you will be responsible for a wide range of electrical tasks in both residential and commercial settings. You will ensure that our projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standard of quality.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in accordance with codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan installations.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Troubleshoot complex electrical issues to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work site at all times.
- Assist with project estimates and material procurement when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License in the State of Michigan.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in residential and/or commercial electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments (confined spaces, heights, outdoors).
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
