Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential and commercial buildings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to determine layout of electrical systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems to identify the source of faults.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Test electrical systems and continuity to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical equipment to prevent failures.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License (or equivalent apprenticeship experience).
- Proven experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Strong understanding of electrical theory and NEC codes.
- Ability to use hand and power tools, including multimeters and circuit testers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
