Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites efficiently.
- Equipment Operation: Operate hand and power tools safely and assist with basic heavy machinery operation.
- Skilled Trades Assistance: Support carpenters, electricians, and masons with daily tasks and setups.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety protocols.
- Excavation & Demolition: Assist in digging foundations, clearing debris, and preparing sites for pouring concrete.
- Measurement & Layout: Perform basic measurements, measurements of angles, and assist with layout tasks.
- Reporting: Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the site supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; technical certifications are a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor is highly desirable.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Driving: Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are required.
- Documentation: Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Safety Mindset: Basic understanding of construction safety standards and PPE usage.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time work and flexible shifts.
