Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures according to specifications.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan electrical layouts.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety standards.
- Perform regular maintenance and safety inspections of electrical systems and equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical problems to ensure optimal system performance.
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely project completion.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License in New York State.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical theory, power distribution, and circuitry.
- Ability to read and understand complex schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Current OSHA 10 or 30 Hour Construction Safety Certification.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for site travel.
