Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in compliance with local and national electrical codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine layout and installation of electrical circuits and equipment.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure safety and optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues quickly and efficiently to minimize downtime for clients.
- Ensure all work is performed in a safe manner and in accordance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice on electrical solutions.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to complete large-scale projects on schedule.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License issued by the State of Oklahoma.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Ability to read and work from blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team setting.
- Valid driverβs license and reliable transportation for travel to job sites.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required by project demands.
