Responsibilities
- Install and Repair: Perform high-quality installations and repairs for residential and commercial electrical systems, including lighting, outlets, and panel upgrades.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all work strictly adheres to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local Pennsylvania building codes.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine wiring layouts.
- Safety Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and safety checks to identify potential hazards and maintain a safe working environment.
- Customer Service: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide professional solutions.
- Tool Management: Maintain and care for all electrical tools and equipment in excellent working condition.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Must hold a valid and active Journeyman Electrician License in Pennsylvania.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in electrical construction or maintenance.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in troubleshooting complex electrical issues and using power tools.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic with the ability to meet deadlines and work independently or as part of a team.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Transportation: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for job sites.
