Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, devices, and fixtures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure safety compliance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and mechanical problems.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate technical details clearly.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License in the state of Virginia.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- In-depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
- Current OSHA 10-hour Construction certification is a plus.
