Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan installations.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently and safely.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure project timelines are met.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License in the State of Louisiana.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Proficiency with modern electrical testing equipment and hand tools.
