Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Electricians: Support experienced team members with residential and commercial wiring projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols while working on job sites.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and organize tools, vehicles, and electrical equipment in a clean and orderly manner.
- Material Handling: Transport, unload, and inventory electrical materials and supplies as needed for daily operations.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by setting up scaffolding, ladders, and temporary power sources.
- Blueprint Reading: Begin developing the ability to interpret basic electrical blueprints and schematics.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or trade school preferred but not mandatory.
- Physical Requirements: Must be physically fit to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various weather conditions.
- Driver’s License: Valid California driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Attitude: A strong willingness to learn, reliability, and a positive team-oriented attitude.
- Tools: Basic hand tools are a plus, though we provide professional-grade equipment for our apprentices.
