Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine layouts.
- Perform routine inspections and safety checks to ensure all electrical systems are up to code and functioning correctly.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining technical issues to clients in clear, non-technical language.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to ensure timely project completion.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, wiring techniques, and safety protocols.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
- Physical stamina to work in various environments, including heights, attics, and crawl spaces.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
