Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the appropriate layout for electrical installations.
- Ensure all work adheres to local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to identify potential hazards and ensure system reliability.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining technical details and addressing client concerns professionally.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician license required.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and power distribution.
- Ability to read and understand complex technical documents and blueprints.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Physical stamina to work in various environments, including heights, confined spaces, and adverse weather conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety.
