Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in residential and commercial settings.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan circuit layouts.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently and safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to meet project deadlines.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate technical details to clients.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Apprentice Electrician License (State of Virginia).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent; technical trade school preferred.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of proven experience in the electrical trade.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and circuits.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Physical stamina to work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces.
