Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures.
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as outlet and switch replacement, light fixture installation, and circuit testing.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes, OSHA safety standards, and manufacturer guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site, including cleaning up after job completion.
- Communicate effectively with team members and provide updates on project progress.
- Transport tools and materials to and from job sites safely and efficiently.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Willingness to obtain required Journeyman or Apprentice licenses upon employment.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Basic understanding of mechanical concepts and ability to read blueprints or schematics is a plus.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects, work on ladders, and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
