Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced testing equipment
- Manage project timelines and coordinate with contractors/clients
- Train apprentices on safety protocols and best practices
- Document work orders and maintain accurate project records
Qualifications
- Valid Tennessee electrician license (or reciprocal state license)
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficiency with conduit bending, wiring, and circuit troubleshooting
- Strong knowledge of NEC standards and local building codes
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within Virginia/TN region
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
