Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and devices throughout residential and commercial properties.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics to determine appropriate wiring layouts.
- Ensure all work strictly complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure system efficiency and longevity.
- Diagnose electrical faults and troubleshoot complex wiring issues efficiently under time constraints.
- Provide exceptional customer service, explaining technical issues clearly to clients and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician License is required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings.
- Valid driverβs license and a clean driving record (MVR).
- Physically capable of performing job duties, including lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
