Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance for residential and commercial properties.
- Read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise execution.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently, minimizing downtime for clients.
- Ensure strict adherence to all local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site, including the proper management of tools and materials.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly and professionally with clients and team members.
- Assist in the training and mentorship of junior apprentices and junior electricians.
Qualifications
- Certified New York State Journeyman Electrician License is mandatory.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of verifiable experience in the electrical trade.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical systems, circuitry, and wiring standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in fast-paced environments.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including climbing ladders, working in attics/basements, and standing for extended periods.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- Familiarity with modern electrical testing equipment and smart home technology is a plus.
