Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and code-compliant wiring in commercial and residential buildings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics to determine layout of electrical systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections to ensure all electrical equipment is functioning correctly.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems and repair or replace faulty equipment components.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician license required (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in the electrical trade.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and power distribution.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
