Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial properties during overnight shifts
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced diagnostic tools and blueprints
- Ensure strict compliance with NEC and Omaha municipal electrical codes
- Perform emergency service calls for critical power outages and system failures
- Collaborate with day-shift teams for seamless project handovers
- Conduct preventative maintenance on transformers, circuit breakers, and control systems
- Maintain detailed service logs and safety documentation
- Mentor junior technicians during overnight operations
Qualifications
- Valid Nebraska Journeyman Electrician license (required)
- Minimum 3 years commercial/residential electrical experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Expertise in reading electrical schematics and blueprints
- Strong troubleshooting skills for complex electrical systems
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
