Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical panels, wiring, and fixtures to ensure compliance with safety codes.
- Prepare work areas by laying out materials, tools, and equipment before starting tasks.
- Identify and troubleshoot basic electrical faults under supervision.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and free of hazards at the end of the shift.
- Document completed work and log time sheets accurately.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a night shift environment.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read blueprints or schematics are a plus.
- Willingness to obtain a State Electrician License upon completion of training.
