Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, fixtures, and control equipment in accordance with NEC and local codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan electrical layouts.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues quickly and accurately.
- Ensure all work areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely project completion.
- Document all work performed, including time logs and material usage.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments (confined spaces, heights).
