Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Support senior team members with electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance projects in residential and commercial buildings.
- Tool Management: Maintain and organize electrical tools, ensuring they are clean, calibrated, and ready for safe operation.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to OSHA safety standards and local Los Angeles electrical codes to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- System Inspection: Conduct routine inspections of wiring systems and electrical panels to identify potential issues or code violations.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, providing updates on project status and maintaining a tidy workspace.
- Material Handling: Receive, inspect, and store electrical materials and components efficiently.
- Documentation: Accurately complete daily logs and reports regarding work performed.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- License: Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (typically 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ pounds, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods.
- Attitude: Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and attention to detail.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation to and from the Los Angeles job sites.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
