Responsibilities
- Perform routine and complex electrical installations, maintenance, and repair work on commercial and residential sites.
- Execute night shift duties including circuit troubleshooting, lighting installations, and panel upgrades.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the proper disposal of hazardous materials.
- Document work orders and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Proven ability to work independently and efficiently during night shifts.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on electrical systems and power distribution.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Willingness to travel to various job sites within the Albuquerque metro area.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
