Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as pulling wire, mounting outlets, and installing lighting fixtures.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with local and national electrical codes.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment effectively.
- Communicate project updates to the supervising electrician and clients.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of standing, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, fractions).
- Strong desire to learn and a positive attitude toward mentorship.
