Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential properties
- Diagnose and resolve electrical malfunctions using advanced diagnostic tools
- Ensure all work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC) and California regulations
- Perform emergency repairs during night hours to minimize operational disruptions
- Collaborate with project teams to complete installations within tight deadlines
- Conduct thorough safety inspections and preventive maintenance routines
- Document work orders and maintain accurate technical records
- Mentor junior electricians on best practices and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid California Electrician License (Class C or higher)
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proven expertise with troubleshooting complex electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards and NEC requirements
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
