Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial/industrial settings
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical malfunctions during night operations
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure strict compliance with NEC, OSHA, and local safety protocols
- Coordinate with day-shift teams for seamless project continuity
- Manage inventory and requisition essential electrical components
- Document all maintenance activities and incident reports
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Valid Texas Electrician Journeyman license (or equivalent reciprocity)
- Proven expertise in troubleshooting 3-phase systems and VFDs
- OSHA 30-hour certification strongly preferred
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure night environments
- Strong knowledge of Austin municipal electrical codes
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability for emergency calls
- Physical ability to climb ladders and work in confined spaces
