Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in commercial/industrial settings during night shifts
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation for precise execution
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure strict OSHA compliance protocols
- Diagnose complex electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools
- Lead emergency response teams for critical power outages
- Train junior electricians on best practices and safety standards
- Document work progress and maintain detailed service records
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial electrical experience with night shift background
- Valid Texas Electrician Journeyman License (or equivalent reciprocity)
- OSHA 30-hour certification and NFPA 70E training
- Proficiency in troubleshooting PLC systems and VFDs
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and local Austin regulations
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
