Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot complex electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications to execute precise electrical layouts
- Perform system diagnostics using advanced testing equipment and resolve critical electrical failures
- Ensure strict adherence to NEC, OSHA, and local electrical safety protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on large-scale projects and emergency repairs
- Document work progress, maintain equipment logs, and prepare detailed technical reports
- Conduct regular preventative maintenance on electrical infrastructure
- Mentor junior technicians on advanced electrical techniques and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio State Electrical License (Journeyman or Master required)
- Minimum 4 years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Expertise in reading complex electrical schematics and blueprints
- Proficiency with power tools, diagnostic equipment, and safety systems
- OSHA 30-hour certification and CPR/First Aid training preferred
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure night shift environments
- Strong problem-solving skills for critical electrical system failures
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
