Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installation, maintenance, and repair on commercial and industrial equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential safety hazards or electrical issues.
- Test and troubleshoot complex electrical systems to ensure optimal functionality.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician License required.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and hand tools.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and workplace safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during night shifts.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
