Responsibilities
- Installation & Maintenance: Perform the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems.
- Night Operations: Execute electrical projects during night shifts, ensuring minimal disruption to daytime operations.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex electrical faults and wiring issues efficiently.
- Compliance: Adhere strictly to local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Documentation: Complete accurate job reports, time logs, and material usage records.
- Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of wiring and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Journeyman Electrician License (New York).
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial and industrial electrical work.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 5 PM - 3 AM).
- Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Tools: Ability to utilize hand tools, power tools, and test equipment proficiently.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various environments.
