Responsibilities
- Install & Maintain: Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial and residential properties.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Compliance: Strictly adhere to all local and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Blueprints: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan layouts.
- Inspections: Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment functionality and safety standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the project management team to meet project deadlines and quality benchmarks.
Qualifications
- Licensing: Valid Journeyman Electrician License required (State of New York).
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in electrical work.
- Skills: Strong proficiency in reading electrical schematics and using diagnostic tools.
- Schedule: Ability to work rotating night shifts and occasional overtime.
- Transportation: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Physical: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
